The town of Pahalgam is situated at the confluence of the two streams, The Lidder River and the stream from the Sheshnag Lake. Pahalgam was primarily a shepherd’s village that offered breathtaking views. After being discovered by locals and as they realized the potential of what this place could offer, they quickly turned this place into a Tourist Hotspot. How to Reach Pahlgam
By Road:A road drive of about 2½ hours from Srinagar takes you to Pahalgam. Buses and taxis are operated on a regular basis from Srinagar and other major cities.
