How to Reach Sonmarg
By Road
There are buses available to Sonmarg from the airport,Jammu Tawi rail station and other major districts in Jammu and Kashmir. You can also hire taxis. If you wish to drive to Sonmarg, you can take the KargilSkardu Road (NH 1D) from Srinagar.
By Rail
The nearest railway station is Jammu Tawi located 375km away. The other stations that are nearest to Sonmarg are Srinagar and Udhampur, both of which are easily accessible. You could travel to Sonmarg via cars or buss from here
By Air
The Srinagar airport, which is 81km away, is the nearest airport to Sonmarg. From here, you could hire a car or taxi or travel via bus.
